WEEK 11

 Social Class and Education

From this topic, I definitely agree that social class will give impacts towards the student's education and schooling. YouTube video above provide the impacts of social class towards education and school of the students. Majority of students that come from low income family always show a lower academic performance. However, some of them proven us that a family background is not a barrier to do well in school. For example, there are famous story of excellent students that came from a poor family but they did well in their SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) and manage to get straight A's. In here I am highlighting the story of Muhammad Amir Azizan who's his father work as factory worker and his mother is a housewife. Despite of having many siblings which caused a financial issues, alhamdulillah he strive to get 11A in SPM 2017. He said that, he cannot deny the difficulty that he had faced but, he keep up his mind and wanted to change his family life by doing his best in the exam. Fortunately, his dream come true and all of his hardwork paid off when he get the 11A's in SPM. From this story, I can say that to be successful in this world, it needs a pure intention and a lot of efforts. Poor family background have nothing to do with our education and school. It is because our government had done their best to help those students who live in poverty.
